Fun with flowers

It’s interesting how opportunities present themselves. This shot was taken in my studio of a flower bouquet I gave to my wife. When she placed the arrangement on the counter a sun beam coming through a window back lit the flowers and caught my attention. By now I don’t need to tell you all what happened next. Let’s just say she did not get to enjoy the flowers for a few hours. I nabbed the vase full of flowers and headed to my studio. I spent a great deal of time setting up light to mimic what I had seen on the counter. Then I realized that there was more creative angles to play with. Here is one of the images I captured that day. Enjoy.
